Hey guys,

Well, i have to be honest that i had to have many tries in order to log into this blog. I practically have 3 gmail accounts excluding the school's with different password. So i suppose you can imagine how it's like huh.

I know it has been ages ever since i updated you. Well, you have to know that i'm know really good in updating things regularly.

Life of 4th Semester starts of with pretty much hectic classes. The hectic-ness is still bearable but studying at Bulle campus really is a big change compared to Glion. We are treated more like adults and assignments based on analyzing and strategies as managers. Woahh.. tough job for moi (means me in french) because i still have a mind of a 12 years old kid. NO kidding, everybody hear thinks i'm a kid. Oh come on, you cant blame me right? I'm still young.. hehehe

However, i do get some stress and frustration this semester. One task after another. Research this and that. Meetings here and there. Sometimes i feel that i cant even breathe. I feel that i get pressured by the people around me who are smart and hardworking.

Anyway, enough of those sad stuff. The first few weekends, it was like a reunion for the 5 girls and 1 guy. It was awesome. Esther is back again after 6 months of break. All of us just cant believe that we see each other again. We visited Chateau de Chillion which is one of the attractions in Switzerland especially in Montreux. we also hanged out, had dinners, sleepovers, and SUSHi..

Just to say, our journey has just begun together~~~

OKAY! Some updates and revival of this blog. :D

I'm currently working as a personal assistant to the organizing chairperson in an event management firm.

Why?

I love organizing events, which also explains why I joined Student Council in college. :)

Where?

What do I do?

Basically telemarketing, looking for sponsors, issueing tickets, numerous errands, and some design stuff.

Not studying anymore?

Yes I am going to continue my studies in October in HELP University in Bachelor of Business Psychology(Hons).

On the other hand, Alison Ng Sze Mien, the co-owner of this blog, has settled down in Bulle, Switzerland.

She's going through a very hectic schedule, such as 8 to 6 classes, 30mins dinner (sure not enough), locking herself out of her room, roaming around the campus saying hi to everyone, and silently cursing that fella. =O

We....... Skype pretty often this time. Don't know why but.. We just do. :)

I know i know i've been notty and ignorant for not blogging for such a super duper looooooooooong time!! Well, i did lose my blogging mood so that's why. If you guys are wondering what i'm doing right now, i'm actually on my internship at Hotel Garbo in Verbier, Switzerland. Well, it's a ski resort so you can imagine me with snow most of the time. It has been pretty pretty cool. We get so close among the staff because there aren't many of us. It's like a family that i have in Switz due to me being so far away from home for some time now. Well, besides that, between my last post till today, i did travel with my dear friend Hao. We explored more places and gained more experiences. So there are some snapshots for you guys to enjoy!

Indeed the counting never ends...we keep adding 1 on the 3rd and also we become stronger each time although we have ups and downs. Serious ones and joking-ish ones. We both overcome them no matter what. Thank God that we have each others' trusts and honesty.

This post is personally between me and Our Heavenly Father.

Lately, i know i've been busy caring about myself. I never spent time with you and even if i did, it wasn't consistent. I confessed that i've been caring too much about myself and thinking what others are thinking. I always whine and complain and cry about being lonely and that nobody wants me. I never put You in my heart. I never put You first in everything. I never think bout You.

Oh Lord,

All the blessings that you have given me, i thank them and forgotten them. I have let myself being carried away by the things around me and with the people. I have neglected you so many times but You always find the way to turn me around. Turn me back to the right path. When my back turns away from you, you are always there to turn me back. You always make sure that i see you.

Lately, thanks to friends and family and brothers and sisters in church. They have reminded me about You. It really does make me feel so terrible after realizing what i have done towards you. I feel so ashamed about myself. I feel as though i do not deserve to be called YOUR DAUGHTER. I don't deserve to announce my good-doings (eg : going to church and prayer).

I want to live again by your word. I want to ejoice in your name and not afraid to tell the whole world about you. I want to live by you. Guilding every step in life for me. I will follow whatever you have planned for me Lord cause you have your love for me. And it's a never-dying love.

Singapore Fair '09 in Geneva

Hey guys, i'm back again after so so long but i guess it's worth the wait. one of the biggest events that i've encountered here at Switz is Singapore Fair '09. It was organized by the Singapore Tourism here at Switz. I was invited by my friend, Lafina. It was nice. Although it's Singapore but it felt like home too as Singapore and Malaysia are very similar.

It was held in Geneva so we got to traveled all the way there. Very interesting was, it was like after quite some time being with your own people, own cultures, food and accent. I really loved it. It's just so much like home.

First thing first, i had to admit i went to the Singapore Fair ainly because of the food. Rendang, Rojak, Roti Prata, Curry laksa....who can ever resist?? I was impressed that they were quite a few varieties and they were all cooked by locals (as in Singaporean who are staying in Switz). They not only supported this event but also managed to promote their restaurant. I came to know that there is a Malaysian Restaurant in Geneva. I so have to check it out one day.

Well, prices were a little too expensive but we tasted the ones which we were so drooling over. For examples:

I was pretty full after the plate of rendang and laksa. While they were showing slides or video of Singapore, i took a chance to walk around the hall and took some pics at the booths. They had all sorts of booths which symbolizes Singapore. For example, batik, games like sepak takraw, henna painting and etc etc.

Introducing a new character..

Hey guys,

It's been pretty long since the last post. So, i thought of introducing a new character of my life here in Switzerland.

The ONE, Most WONDERFUL, EXTRAORDINARY JACKIE CHAMOUN!!

"wait..you guys talking about me??"

Yes indeed Jackie !! I wanna let the whole world know the Best Best Roommate!!! As every new semester starts, we change not only our room but also our roommate. Of course we can choose to stay with our friend whom we choose. Well, i would prefer staying with somebody i do not know. It's actually hard to stay with your best friend. It may be very difficult and might ruin your friendship. Therefore, i came to know this little stranger from Lebanon.

This stranger of mine has not only been my companion but also my entertainer. She's in first semester and we learn a lot of things from each other. For example, i learn french from her and i teach her how to be independent. Thought her how to use the laundry, shopping, ironing and etc.

So it all started on the first day i knew her. I never never expected that the jackie i met on the first day to be the Jackie i know now. On the first day, she was quiet and shy. She gave me that impression that she's a quiet girl who doesn't really like to talk. Right now, it's so the complete opposite. She's funny, hyper all the time, random, weird, opposite...a lot more words to describe her. She has been the one making me living each day with smiles and laughter. She is not afraid of stupidity. I suppose no such word like "stupidity" or "embarrass" exist in her dictionary.

How funny she is... she's CRAZEE!!! but i love her.. hehehe..

She just know when i am down and she would ask me why. She would try using her ways to cheer me up and tries to get me out of the room.

That day was ine of the most enjoyable day i ever had. Thanks to her. I really needed that especially after a really really bad and sucky day. I was so screwed up at cbl the night before and the next day, she just dragged me out and we had a MARVELOUS day ever. It was such a good experience.

It was 10 am and i about to spent the rest of my day in bed. Then, there was jackie standing at the corner of the room saying "Ally, get up! go get your clothes!". I was like "huh? what?". Then she brought out for water ski. It was so cool. Although i just watched her, it was yet amazing!! I love the breeze, the lake, the scenery, just everything!.

We had lunch together and there went her crazy idea of going to Hao's school and surprised him. We needed to take the boat in order to get over the other side of the lake to his school. It was so ridiculous cuz i never been to his school before neither did jackie. So it was another adventure for us. I wasn't even sure about the name of the place. I just looked through the board using my conscious. So it was like "ahh..this name sounds familiar." ok let's go.

CRAZY IDEA of Jackie: Let's go to Paris, Italy and Germany NOW!

So, we hopped on to the boat to get to the other side of the lake. It was quite scary and uncertain because remember i have no idea how hao's school or how to get there at all. So we were on the boat and i saw all mountains. So green. I was like " Jackie, do you think we are on the right boat cuz all i see are trees and not buildings" She was like "No, don't worry. just follow the SENSATION." Her fav word is SENSATION. LOL

So we finally reached the place and i saw a pink building. I told jackie that that must be it cuz i rmbered that someone told me that it's a pink building. Yet we were so unsure cuz there were no name of "Caeser Ritz" We then heard a girl talking about school and so i asked her whether was it the same school that we were looking for. Thank God. It was. So we now noe that we're safe. LOL

She showed us the direction to the school. Pretty quiet place. I would not say pretty but REALLY EXTREMELY QUIET. It's like nobody at all. I would actually call it "deserted" town. At Hao's school, truly still quiet. Never really saw anybody there. Best part was we don't know where to go and start looking for hao.

We waited for him outside and we just went up to this girl and asked her whether she knew hao. Good thing she noes but didn't know where he was. And i asked a stupid silly question which was "Do you know where is his room so mayb we could wait for him there?"

The girl was like "HUH?" CHANGE CHANGE..."ok ok..i noe that's weird...Ah...i heard you guys have a student lounge right? you noe where?" Phew! good thing i knew something about this school. So they brought us there and funny thing was we found HAO!!..He was ok shocked, but not shocked. His reaction was so so so so not fun at all. He was like "oh ok..ok..ok.." SWT!!! *Hao, you need to take some lessons from me

So, he brought us around the school and we sat by the lake. Had dinner together at a pizza place. THanks FOR DINNER HAO!..it was yummy!!

Jackie and i had to go back and we said "Sayonara HAO!!"

We pretty much ended our day like that. We were pretty tired. I know i was but i was happy. It was great!!..

Happy Birthday Swiss!! 1.8.09

Hey guys, I'm back again and this time i'm bringing you Switz's birthday. It was on 1.8.09 and of course it was amazing for me to have this opportunity to experience it.

As my room is facing the lake, i managed to see the fireworks on the night before. The fireworks weren't very extraordinary. So, i'll let you have a taste of the Swiss fireworks. One thing that it was amazing was because they had it on the lake in Montreux. Although it's really small, but it was loud.

The next day, I spent my day in Geneva. It was actually my first visit to Geneva and i really enjoyed myself. I went with Hao and his friends from his new school. They are pretty nice ppl. It was a chance for me to see how Swiss ppl celebrated their national day. Actually the plan for them to go to geneva was to shop. I prefer sight-seeing and capturing some pics. Thank God that it was national day and He gave me the opportunity to do so. Not only that, we even had a tour guide who was Hao's friend. She took us around Geneva. That was really nice of her.

We then realised that there was a show or something. So we decided to sit and watch. Thank God we got a really good seat where it's shaded with trees. How cooling!

So then we watched this cool water sport thing. We watched it for awhile and then walked on. This vid just elaborates a little bit about the fun and excitement.

So, there was also like a mini theme park which was quite cool to actually see it in Switz. It wasn't open yet when we went but then we were able to sit some of the rides. It was fun and i would never ever forget bout my bravery. There was this ride where i was really "OMGOSHH" heheh... That was like my craziest ride ever! It was called Maximum. It works like a pendulum like going forward and backward. Then the higher it swings, it reaches its maximum which is the 360 degrees round. Imagine how terrified i was man!!. I was the only girl that sat. Together with 3 other guys. I screamed my lungs out and shut my eyes throughtout the whole ride. omgoshh...I still can't believe that i actually sat that..

Room 6-207

Welcome back everybody to Switzerland. Now it's a whole new adventure. It's a brand new semester, Brand new room, Brand new classes,and Brand new friends. You guys must be wondering why brand new friends. Well, it's because i'm doing diploma and my other old friends are going bachelor's but we're studying the same things. Just different name. I had to do diploma because i only finished 11 years of education (6yrs in primary and 5yrs high school). So right now, my friends are doing their internship and mine will be next year. So wont be seeing them for like 1 year.. How sad!!

Nevertheless, I just got to continue to stay strong and fit into any situation. So, just an introduction of how my room looks like. I really have to share with you guys my room cuz it is just amazing.

My room is located in Hotel des Alps. It's a hotel which was bought over by the school. Last semester, they were renovating the whole hotel and now everything that we have, see, smell, touch are all brand new!!. However, the disadvantage is it's further up the mountain. So i kinda have to walk up hill and downhill practically everyday. It's like 15 mins walk i guess. But will hills, there's nothing to kid about noe.

So my room is still the same as the old one. It's a double room and i was suppose to have a roommate. However, till today, i haven't met her. Therefore, I have the whole room to myself with everything that is double. heheh. Double beds, Double tables, Double wardrobes, .......

As the bed is so comfortable, i usually do my work on my bed instead of the table. The table seems to be just collecting dust. hehehe

I'm pretty impressed with my wardrobe cuz i managed to fill up the spaces which doesn't really look too empty. I brought more clothes from malaysia and stuff and LOL.. It looks more like a wardrobe now.

So this room do also comes with an attached bathroom which is seriously very very important to me. I need clean bathrooms. So it came with shower, toilet bowl and a wash-basin. Although it's much smaller than my previous room, it is still alright. (Just to make sure that i don't grow any bigger!! *tsk*tsk)

Not to forget guys, my room has a balcony too! So i got the whole view of the lake and Glion Residence. Got the view of the mountains too. Beautiful!

So basically i've told you right that hotel des alps is actually a fine dining restaurant too. So the restaurant is at the ground floor and i can see people eating downstairs.

Wanna know a funny incident that happened to my room?? I BURNT MY CURTAIN!!! hehe.. it's no joke!! i'm serious!!!

Now, this is something discrete and a very naughty thing to do. My heart was pumping hard again while taking this pic. I made like a few attempts and i ALMOST got caught by my neighbour. I think it's because he saw the flash!!.. So you guys should appreciate what i'm doing for you guys!!

Now you said girls love tanning but GUYS DO also love tanning..

My neighbour has a huge huge balcony and it was a great idea to just lie and chill. Just enjoy the sun!

Summer Love in Malaysia..

Hey guys,

I thought that i should share with you guys about my summer in Malaysia. It was truly summer as it was so hot. I immediately feel sick the next day i woke up. I had soar throat and slight cough and fever that evening. Pretty scary huh? Thought i was gonna get swine flu. So that night, i slept early and my mum changed towels for me. She thought of sending me to the hospital to check but my dad didn't want to cuz i might be stuck in the hospital and that goes my summer. So we prayed prayed and thankfully that my fever went down. No fever!!

So i went to the doctor and he said "Ah..nothing la..just heaty only!". I guess i'm not a true malaysian anymore. Can't stand the heat. LOL. Indeed, the first week was tough. I practically had to keep showering with COLD WATER but that didn't work. I still sweat after that. My dad had to put the air cond to full blast for me. Funny thing.

So let's see. I started my summer with visiting my family. It was really nice of Aunty Karen (my aunty) to open her house for dinner. She cooked chicken rice. So obviously all local food during my summer. Then, i rested a few days at home.

Tao's college had this premier thing for their moral videos about HIV Aids. I can never forget that day cuz i had another "heart attack" again from you-know-who. I was just expecting to see Tao. So we went to the auditorium and we sat. I was a bit late. So sorry about that. The next moment i realised, this voice beside me not Tao was creepy. It was obviously dark and i couldn't see a thing and that familiar voice just stunned me. The first thing i did was not hug or cry or anything but BEAT. LOL. Who asked you to scared me like that? Imagine you seeing back your long distanced bf, you would actually hug and cry but mine was weird. Extraordinary. As usual. So that was my first time seeing him. I didn't expect to see him so soon. We had an awesome time and thanks Tao was pakat-ing with him. hehee.

The next big event of my summer was Tris' party. I was so excited in meeting mh's new friends and they were all so nice. It was a pool party and we had pizza and spaghetti. I brought some swiss chocs and i hope that they enjoyed it. I like that day because it was special and wonderful. A night i cannot forget. After that, I think i went to Singapore. * sorrry, i have memory prob*..lol..Going back to Malaysia also means Singapore. This trip wasn't long. It was just for 4 days. Didn't take any photos cuz i already took them on my last visit. I met Gaj and we chilled and talked about memories and stuff at Starbucks. Then we had dinner together. It was nice. I didn't do anything much besides shopping as nobody was free to teman me. My two cousins were busy working. They leave before i woke up and comes back home late. However, one thing which was interesting was i went to work with my cousin. It was interesting to see her working environment like. She's into media so she's working in a film producing company. What came to my surprise was their attire to work is so simple like t-shirt and slippers. How comfy!

I took the Aeroline bus home. So comfortable. Better than the plane. So luxury! I reached pyramid at night and there was this police exhibition. Really cute because they had their own Police band. They also showed the police car and bike. All sorts of weapons and cases and drugs. I didn't even know they were so so many.

So after that, met up with some friends. Well, we didn't spend quite a lot of time together at least i get to show them how white i've become. A compliment from JC. It's not "wah..so fat adi" but "wah..you so white adi!!"... so it's a good thing. LOl.. I met up with the old 5W back ppl who are Ying, Dickson, Peter Y, Matthew, Juin and others. Miss those times where we laugh and go crazy like nobody cares. Still remember that time you guys used to bully me.

I don't only spend my summer with myself and my Kl friends but also my Switz friends man. Coco if you guys would still remember her. She was my maldivian friend. She came to visit me for 1 day. We went to Mid Valleys with mh and we had lunch at Madam Kwan's. We ordered our famous Malaysia food but Coco is a small eater. So we didn't oredered much. After that, we did some shopping.

Then, we went to WMS as they were having COCO night. We brought COCO to see our high school memories and how we wesleyans are like. We had a chat with Pn Noor and coco finds our teachers really friendly and funny. Indeed they are. Esp with Mh..The famous "trouble maker" i suppose..heehe.. Just joking...

Then, my Viet friend came. I was so excited to that. She came for 4 days but still got to cover most of the stuff here in KL. She likes to eat. So we brought her to eat lots and lots of food. We also made a trip to mckl just to drop by and see our Johnny BOy. Of course Johnny Boy was so so hyped up and that was the first time i saw him play bb again after a very long time. I missed that. It was one of my goals for this summer.

We also then went to KLCC and it was her birthday. I felt so touched having here spending her birthday with me and NOT HER BOYFREN..MUAHAHA...So me and Johnny boy planned something but it didn't work out just right. Our original plan was to bring her to JCO or Big apple donuts. Then we were going to smash donuts into her face. I know it was mean but THAT WAS WHAT JOHNNY BOY DID TO ME!!!..LOL..Surprisingly, there were no JCO or Big Apple. KLCC is so huge but not even a donut stall.

Ended up, we brought here to Starbucks. She like frappucino and i was telling her that our frappucino is diff. It's hot and not nice and all. It ws crap la obviously. It was so fun to tease her. So this time no donuts but cream!!.

She definitely wasn't dumb so she knew that we were up to sumtin and she knew that we know it was her birthday..

So after chilling, it's time for the park. I love the park and it was so sunny and nice. We went and sat although the grass was wet. Then, Dora said 'i wanna go shopping!!" So she went off herself and we two enjoyed our quality time like little kids. Running around the playground. Going under on top like maniacs. LOl..just joking. But we had fun.

That evening, Dora's dad's staff invited us for dinner at a japanese buffet. It was surprising and honoured to be invited. We ate lots of sushi and it was yummy. I had my very first sake but i just took a few sips.

Then it was the Sports Carnival. That was the last item on my list this summer. I postponed my flight just for that. I wanted to watch Mh play. It was my last thing to do before leaving. I like watching him play just like how i used to back in high school. Unfortunately, they just played once which was quite disappointing but there was a bright side too. We spent our very last moments together. At least i had something to bring back to Switz. I was pleased and happy and satisfied for my summer. I did a lot of things and met most ppl.

Hey guys,

I know that i'm back from Switzerland but i still have one more event to share with you guys. It's a birthday thing. You see...esther's, dora's, hannah's and coco's birthdays are all in the later half of the year. Therefore, we wont be able to celebrate together as we are all separating. So, Hao and i came up with this "SURPRISE" which it wasn't much of a surprise anymore at the end.

It all started out with this. I planned to have a picnic together because we haven't done that yet. Besides the cost was not that much either. Well, then, cuz when i first told them about it, they were considering on whether to go as they kinda said they were broke. But then, i told them that they need not pay anything except for the train ticket of course. Everything is all prepared for me. However, sandwiches wont be enough to last for our stomach and i thought why don't we have dinner in school first. Let's make our picnic to be a night picnic instead. We could watch the stars. Oooo..so romantic..(if only....) Anyway, they were still considering.

Cut everything short. I got angry cuz i was so frustrated and blurted out bout the surprise. It was a cold morning actually that day. However, good thing that my anger never stays. So everything went back as normal later. We went to migros and did our groceries. BOught cakes and cool things.

Just then, it started to rain as we got back. Great! Just great..haihz. So no more picnic but instead it became a pajama party at DORA"S.. HAHHA...So it wasn't that bad after all..

Summer in Switzerland is really amazing. I have never seen such healthy and beautiful flowers at all. It is such beautiful. I can just stay here all my life. The air and breeze blows at my face. How wonderful.

My favorite place is by the lake. I love going there sometimes alone and with my friends. I love that place because it's for all ages. From young to teenagers to couples to family and to seniors. The lake reminds me of the beach. Sounds of the soft waves, smell of the lake and the atmosphere. I love to go there for relaxation. It helps me to relax and have some peace and time alone with myself. Seeing the people there just make me enjoy life even more.

However, there is always something that is missing when i go there. Something which makes me feel quite emotional. I really do hope someday i could walk along that same path with someone who i care about.

Hey Guys, wanna know the insight of us girls about beauty? Ever wonder why girl's enjoy beautifying ourselves? It's really and enjoyment and really nice time to hang out with just girls. It's cool to hang out with your guy frens too but sometimes we do need some heart-to-heart chat with our girlfriends. It is just the same as for guys where you guys do also have your moments together to watch football. So let's just say we do need to chill with our own species for awhile.

So...Guys out there!! You are so so lucky as i'm bringing you to the insight of what girls do. Few nights ago with Hao away, we took the opportunity to have a girls' Nite out in my room. We bought face masks and some beauty things like for nails. It was so exciting as seriously i never done my beauty before. I dont know any single bit about beauty. I know you guys are laughing at me but anyway, it was pretty cool.

A few pics which i was allowed to exposed our stupidity looks. Masking is something i bet which gives a fright to guys. LOL. However, guys!! Just live with it. You are so gonna have a wife next time so better start learning now.

LOl. I know this is so embarrasing but i just felt like sharing my nite nite with my girls. So Dora was there like my momma. She taught me how to put it on and about the different kinds of masks. She even put it on for me. I never done my facial on my own before except for washing my face but masking. Oh NO..LOL..

So after masking, definitely it's taking off time. It's peel-off mask.

Next was blackheads for me and dora. It was so stupid of me to just found out that we were suppossed to wet the tape. LOL.

While we were doing our blackheads, the other girls were doing their nails. LOL!! And while waiting for my nose to be done, i gave each of them a massage. It was like a free spa. So i found myself quite useful as a massage lady. LOL. I even had an apprentice and she's learning fast.

Paris Day 3 and Au Revior Paris!!!

Hey guys sorry for the late post. Kinda slacking a bit now..BUT NO!!! I have to get my wheels on going.hehehe.ok..i have my party music to keep me going.

So my very last day in Paris. I headed to my final destination of my trip which was the famous museum in Paris. Anybody heard bout the Lourve Museum in Paris? i can say that it's huge!!! Mayb 5 or 6 times bigger than our small little Muzium Negara. LOL. So something which was so interesting was that the museum was actually underground. So cool!!...

It's just so amazing to see the architecture. The big pyramid was the entrance to go underground. However, all those old buildings around it are the actual muzeums. See what i mean by BIG BIG!!!..

Back inside the muzeum, there were so MUCH things to see. (i use much it's because it's seriously many).LOL. So there were paintings, sculptures, artifacts, and others. I took so many pics of them and obviously i can't explain much about what the sculptures about because all the description were in french. I wished that we had an interpreter to translate to us because it's pretty interesting to know bout the history.

So first we went to see some sculptures/naked men. LOL. Most of the sculptors are naked. From what i see, i think these sculptors were refering to their leaders and warriors before.

The next thing that we saw was the paintings. Most paintings were religious. They were drawings during Jesus' days. However, others are pictures about their war or suffering. Pretty scary though to see the looks of those ppl in the paintings. To be honest, there were too many paintings till i kinda got fed up on. hehehe.

So after the lullaby sleep, we all woke up pretty late. Quite wasted that we woke up late. So we took shower and stuff that morning. The first stop we headed to the shopping malls. Oh by the way, it was raining that day. Pretty sad. So surprised that they have 3 separate buildings for the shopping mall. One building is for guy's stuff another is for girls stuff and another for supermarket. Each building isn't just like one or two floors. They hae several floor. It was like a shopping paradise only if i had enough money. So basically, i was just looking or "following" my friends around doing shopping. Guess who shopped the most?? The Girls or the GUY?? Let me tell you. It was the GUY HAO!!. He really is a shopper. We were saying that he should be a girl and i should be a guy cuz i said that i'm bored. He was like " HArh?? You can actually be bored of shopping??" LOL.

Did i mention that paris was like a shopping paradise? It was also a MEN PARADISE. LOL. Durhh. French guys are so known by their romantic-ness and hotness. LOL. Coco and i were like spotting hot guys and drooling over them. Ooooh La la. LOL. There was this funny incident. We were at the guy's department and one of the salesmen was wearing such low cut shirt which we could see his bare chest. OMGOSHH!! LOL. However, he was a little bit old. When Coco looked at him, he kinda winked at us. So funny. Well, you guys must be thinking that i'm mean or sumtin because i drool over the guys in Paris. I also do think of my lovey dovey k. I was missing him every minute. I was so wishing that he could be there with me. I even went to the extent that i imagined him with every single manequin in the store. OH. So cute.

I was actually pretty pissed by evening because i didn't want to do shopping and i wanted more sightseeing. They should do their shopping when i go. I left earlier actually where as my friends were going to disneyland. Finally we left the mall around 3 or 4 o'clock. We had our lunch/tea later.

Our next stop was to the LV shop. Oh gosh! More shopping. This time we took the subway. It was cool. We didn't get lost. Then there we were on the famous street in Paris, Champs Elysees. When we saw LV, it was so amazing. Even i myself who doesn't really enjoys shopping thought that it was so cool. It was huge and so many people. It's like i'm there in LV Headquarters. Bags, Shoes, clothes, Wallets and other things can be found everywhere.

Further down the street, that was where the attraction was for sightseeing which was The Arc de Triomph. It was so cool because it looked as though the street was heading people to the arc. The Arc was built during Napolean's time. It was like a tribute to the soldiers which fought in the war.

I managed to take a ride on the double decker bus. It was so so cool because i never sat in a double decker bus before. We were able to see everything from the top and it was actually a tour bus so they do have like a radio or something to tell us about our stops.

That night, we went to the Eiffel Tower. WOOHOO!! We purposely waited at night because we wanted to see the lights. Aww it was so beatiful. There is actually a restaurant somewhere in the middle of the Eiffel Tower. Then Hao was saying " Ooh.. I am gonna bring my BAbbee! But first i need to find my Babbee" LOL. Love the way he said it. It was so cute. But it was sweet and i always thought bout you.

So finally, the day came to an end. We were so extremely tired and hungry. We got back around 10 and we still didn't have dinner yet. So we ate a little and drop dead again.

Paris Trip in April

Time to tell something different today. We had a mid term break in April. We had 10 days of holidays. So I spent it with Hao and Coco. We went over to Paris and we had a blast. Well, i wanna thank Hao so so much for planning this trip. He was the one who planned every single thing. He looked for the accommodation and became our tour guide. So he really deserve a big compliment. So we went on Monday early morning. We took the 6 sumtin train so that means we had to wake up at 5.30 and guess what that was when i got my HANGOVER! So i was so so sick even wanted to cancel my trip. I dragged myself from the bed to the station.

So the train ride was like 4 hours from Lausanne to Paris. We slept in the train and had some biscuits and stuff. I couldn't believe that i slept in the train. It was so funny because we all slept on the table in the train. People there must have been wondering what's wrong with us. LOL.

So we reached around 10 in the morning in La Gare Lyon. This is where the trains are. When i placed my foot onto the ground of Paris, it was so fasinating because i can't believe my eyes that i was in Paris. It was the place where i wanted to go and thought about going there for my honeymoon. Lol. Finally i was there in Paris. It was so busy. full of people everywhere. It was so different compare with Switzerland. Felt so like a lost "kampung girl". Thank God we had Hao. We just followed him and he was like our papa.

Of course the first place where we wanted to go was to where we were suppose to stay. Hao found an accommodation which was actually owned by a Taiwanese artist who is in Paris. He has a galery and below his galery he has so called an apartment. He usually rents it tourists like us. It was really reasonable. It was more like a cave to me but it was nice. So cozy. It was included with a kitchen. So we could cook our own dinner. The sleeping area can accommodate 4 people. There were a bed and 4 mattresses. We ladies gave Hao the bed since he deserved it. So sleeping on the floor wasn't that bad. The kitchen was quite well-equiped with coffee machine, stove, a fridge and all. There was a washing machine too if we want to wash our clothes. The shower however was pretty scary at first because there isn't a door or anything to cover. It was like a shower hid behind a huge tank. So if you don't announce that you are showering, WAH RUGI LA!! LOL. But of course we are friends. We trust each other. So it was cool.

Without wasting any of our precious time, we straight away headed out to the city. However, our first sstop was to have lunch. We were so hungry at that time. And because of that, we just ate Pizza Hut for lunch. We couldn't spend another minute to look for nice restaurants. After that, we started our tour. It was so cool and lost also because it was like an adventure. Hao and Tian Tian were the map lookers because no way i can read the map so i was just a follower. Our accommodation was really strategic because it was situated in the middle of the popular spots like the opera house, the church and others. So our Day 1 plan was to walk around that area.

Next we went to see the President's Area. It was guarded just like the London's Palace with "statues". LOl. They do not move at all and they did look funny with the long hat. It was such a coincident that someone was arriving and we managed to take a peek inside.

So we walked and walked the whole day. Non-stop. you should be very amazed at us because we did not use any transportation that day. WE just continued walking and walking for hours. We even walked so so far away from where we were suppose to walk. You could say that it was almost to the next town. But it was fun.

Just then, my craziness and hype began to take over my body. So we had many crazy pictures and fun pics. It was so cool and beautiful because we walked to the park nearby and it was just so cool and romantic.

It became evening and we were so so exhausted. My feet especially my toes were aching. I had blister! Ouchie!! So we wanted to head back to the apartment but the apartment was so damn far. But still we had to walk and walk. Finally, Home sweet Home. We had our showers and dinner. We cooked pasta. It was Yum Yum! It felt like we were housemates and we cook together. How fun!!. I simply just drop down dead on my mattresses while the others continued their night adventure that night.

Wondering how is school like here? Firstly, i stay in school like a boarding school for some of you. It's not really a boarding school but it's just that they provide accommodation for us. We have 4 main buildings on school campus. Oh before i tell you more, my school is actually on a mountain. It's like our school overlooks the whole town and it's true. From Montreux, we can eye on the school in every direction.

So the school has 4 main buildings on school campus. Buildings 1,3,and 4 are for accommodations where as building 2 is where classes are. We also do have accommodations up the hill and down in Montreux. Hotel Des Alps, Righi and La Residence are just slightly higher up on the mountain. It is walkable and the school provides shuttle buses for people like me. hehehe. Down in Montreux, we have in Swiss Majestic (a hotel) and Bonivard. So basically, my school is very big.

I stay in building 1-320. It is a double room with an attached bathroom. Love my room so much. It's the place where i can stay there without even leaving my crib. It's just so comfortable. love my roommate too. She's really neat and tidy.

**behind me& my mom, i just realized that i caught my service teacher MR BERNARD!!**

Now comes to the food they serve us. We are fully provided with meals. 3 meals a day on weekdays and 2 meals on weekends : brunch and dinner. So we are well looked after. Well, sometimes the food aren't really appetizing but overall, it's still satisfactory for me.

In Bellevue and Cafe Venior, we have a buffet concept in serving. We have the cold salad bar, main course which consists of either meat or seafood and also vegetarian dish, bread counter and dessert.

The club is also another place where we can have lunch. The food is much more simple. They are sandwiches and pizza or pasta. It's a chill place to hang out.

Now here comes to the most appetizing food. As a hotel management school, we do also have restaraunts which are fine dining in order to train students. Therefore, we have Hotel Des Alps and La Residence. The concept of these two restaurants is like fine dining. Everything is very detailed. So does the food.

Now comes to the classes. In first semester we have a couple of lessons. We started of with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Language (apparently i was in Academic English) and Learnign Skills. Just by the names, i'm sure that you guys can know what the subjects are.

What i want to ellaborate more is on Food & Bevarage. On the second half of this class, we learnt more about wines, champagnes, cognacs and so on. It was really interesting because i wasn't an alcoholic person. I knew absolutely nothing. Now at least i have a basic knowledge of them. Besides that, we managed to taste some of the wines and champagnes.LOL.

After housekeeping, fnb and language are done, it was time for our practical work called CBL (craft-based learning). It is basically more on training than sitting in class which now means more tiring and needs more energy.

Each class will have 4 weeks of cbl. The first week will be an introduction, then followed up by working in Hotel Des Alsp, Kitchen and lastly Service in Bellevue and CV. Just an info, i never enter a kitchen before. I don't even know how to fry an egg before i came here and now, gladly and proudly to say that I KNOW HOW TO MAKE THE BEST EGGS IN THE WORLD!!. LOL. I really learnt a lot from CBL. Even by setting up a table, there are so many steps. Everything is so detailed. Placing the cuttleries also so difficult. LOl. But there are many good times too. We learnt to work together and through this we began to actually talk to people in our class. In CBL, i began to talk and have fun with people who i never even said hi to before. People like Daisuke (Japan), Steve (Canadian-Korean), Ko (Korean), and many others. They are really nice people too. They are very helpful and they often help a weak girl like me. We had to carry 3 plates at one go and i'm not kidding. The plates were hot for the main and heavy heavy heavy!. With my weak arms, oh boy! i had my hard times too.

2nd Week : Kitchen.
Sorry guys no pics about kitchen. Wanted to take some but the chefs are quite scary! LOl. Just kidding. The chefs are nice and funny especially the french chef who can't speak english. He is always a joke to us. He's so cute but he wants everything fast fast. So his nickname is "Zoom Zoom Chef". LOl. He yells to us and always ask us to "aller aller which means hurry hurry!" So cute.

3rd Week : Service in Bellevue & CV & Club

Me as the bread girl. It's not easy to be a bread girl k. It's so tiring to slice so many breads. These ppl are really bread-eaters!

Finally, end of CBL which means Back to study. Right now i will finish off my semester with basic accounting and IT. My schedule isn't very hectic now. I can't wait till this semester to be over! Going back soon and i am so so gonna miss you guys here at Glion. This is where my journey began!

Hi everyone,
I shall be the heroine for this blog. As everybody knows that this blog need help and here i am to rescue this blog. As for my first post, i should introduce myself. I'm Alison nickname Ally B. I have just become a member of this blog. So i will be one of the authors.

I'm currently studying hospitality in Switzerland. What i'm gonna write most will be about my life her in Switzerland. I know some of you out there are envy and can't get a chance to experience what i'm experiencing now. So, i would like to share my experience here with you. I'm studying at a hotel school known as Glion Institute of Higher Education. It is noted as one of the top schools of hospitality. My whole course will take about 3 and half years. I have been here since end of January. I wouldn't say my life suck here. It's really great. I love the life i'm having and i'm enjoying it so so much. I met many new people.

Meeting and socializing with people is one of my barriers. Believe it or not, i'm actually shy. So you can at least imagine how could i be possible to adapt in this whole new environment. All alone. No one that you know. No one to depend on. No one to cry on. However, everybody here do also feel the same thing. We talked and tried to open conversations among each other. Obviously it will be easier if you can find friends from your own country. Sadly for me, i was the only Malaysian this semester and overall only 2 Malaysians in the whole entire school. Well, that doesn't matter. But obviously, you need to change yourself a little bit like the way you speak and act. You can't speak with the malaysian slangs like "lah", "loh", "ma"...People here do not understand you. However, it was really difficult for me in the beginning because i'm so used to our malaysian way of speaking.

After finding my own cliques, I started to find myself back. I love myself. I love the way i am. I started to introduce my slangs to them and the way i was speaking. Some of them even got influenced my me. LOL. Let's just say that our slangs and "Malaysia-ness" are very unique.

This is my first time being away from home alone. Living here by myself and doing everything on my own. I learnt to be more independant and more organized. I also learnt to be more mature and know how to handle situations. Just say that i'm in good hands. The Lord has always been watching me. He has provided me the Best!

Let's talk more about my friends. i came to know 4 wonderful and amazing friends. They have become a family to me here in Switzerland. They are Esther Park aka Rose (Canadian), Trang aka Dora (Vietnamese), Fathimath aka CoCo (Maldivian)m Hannah aka Milk (Hong Kong) and Hao aka Noodle/Hugo (Taiwanese). They are the ones who i can get high and random. They are the ones who i can be myself. They don't mind my craziness and of course it scared them at first but now i think they take it like an entertainment. LOl. Esther is a very sweet and nice girl. She's actually korean but she was born in Canada. She is the oldest in our group so she is like our big sister in our family. Dora is the cutest and she is the one who i can actually relate too most of the time. Coco is just so sweet and funny. She does many cute things and she has a pretty smile. I love to see her when she smiles. So SMILEEEE COCO!!. Hao is the man in our group. He's the nicest guy in CAMPUS! A compliment for you, Hao. Hao has been really nice and he always watch out for us. Thanks Hao for being the bodyguard for us!! Hannah is just plain funny and sometimes random. She's my cantonese friend. At least i can practice my cantonese on her. She just so cute and she was actually the first person i talk to when i came here.

We hang out together, eat together, chill together, study together. Whatever we do, we do it together. It's just so amazing to meet these people. I was so worried before that i will not meet any nice friends. I still do miss my Malaysian friends. Don't think i have forgotten you guys!.. You all are also the best!

Being here in Switzerland, there are many first times too!. My biggest first time was drinking and clubbing. I used to have this wrong perception about clubbing. But then, i realised that actually clubbing is an activity. It's a socializing activity. It acutally depends on who you go with. That is the most important. We also do have to know our limits. So as a beginner of clubbing, I'm not that bad ok. I still can get with the flow.

Well... Today was rather different from other Fridays because we had an hour of extra Psychology class which was really.... Weird, felt as if it was a Saturday.. Yes, who goes to college for classes on Saturday? ME! I'm going to college tomorrow because.. Apparently there will be an Edu Fair hosted by Kuen Cheng Girl's School which is just across the river from MCKL.. Yes, another Edu Fair.. I got my pay today though.. AND today we had the first (was it?) volleyball game! =D It was FANTASTICALLY FUN OVERALL excluding the blazing hot sun which has caused me sunburn all over my neck, arm, and face. Still, I enjoyed volleyball today.

Oh, Natasha if you're reading this... I can't change my way of talking, especially with the Tamil accent.. =) I'll stick with it and you'll have to bear with it.. or get used to it.. Hopefully the latter would be better. *hey c'mon i never complain abt the way u talk*

Subsequently, I quickly ran to get the First Aid Kit from my kitchen and applied the yellow colour lotion on his wounds.. There were TWO cuts on his neck..
At first I didn't know he was umm.. Giddy..
I thought he was DYING..
I was so worried until I had tears in my eyes..
Yes, I love my dogs really much.
So after dinner, I went to check on him again with some food..
HE REFUSED TO EAT!
But drinking helluva water!!! until now..
I think he drank 1.5litre of water already..
Sigh, I hope he'll get better tomorrow.. =(
